Despite my mail forwarding request submitted to the postal service, I’m not receiving my magazine(s). What can I do?

For your information, The “Deutsche Post” [German postal service] standard forwarding request unfortunately does not apply to magazines/newspapers; as noted there: “Excluded from the forwarding request [...] are InfoPost without envelopes and express consignments. The same applies for press consignments (e.g. customers or employee magazines) and postal pieces (daily newspapers or news magazines).”

These consignments are usually destroyed on site and not sent back to the shipper. Therefore, neither we nor the publishing house receives notice of shipments not being received or forwarded.
